I have been browsing the religion forum for a few days now and I discovered that Christians are sooooo mis-informed about Islam.

Whatever that is happening in Islam is not a proof of authenticity of your own religion. It remains flawed and flawed it would remain.

There are several references about Muslims fighting, middle east crisis and all by Christians on Nairaland. Its like the more they post stuffs about Islam, the happier or more relaxed they are as Christians. But HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Muslims have always been on the recieving end of most attacks of the World and we are expected to keep quiet, be gentle and not fight back. It doesnt make sense at all,

Christians should concentrate on their own very flawed religion and not use islam as a means of comfort that Christianity is real. Its a religion of paul. They quote nonsense out of the bible and they are soooo happy. All you guys are doing is pure philosophy and nothing more. The bible is meant for the world and there is no where in there where God says "O people of the world, : or "O my creations, do his, don't do that". Only stories of some people who lived, and that is what has become a way of life for them.

And there are worse verses in the bible that condones violence, yet the pastors and priests have successfully made the faith to look good. There are thousand and one cases of violence, incest, pornography an all those useless things in the bible and yet, the pastors and the priests have succeeded in making it look good, and that is a book they attribute to God. So full of contradictions. God is Perfect and free from flaws!

Christians also say that we are the image of God, meaning God has a nose, eyes, lips, 2 ears and all that. God has given us capacities that we cannot exceed so anything we do or say or write will always revolve around being human. For example, they say God has a Son!!!. Holy Mary, mother of God, Sons and daughters of God (mumus). God is beyond all that. The creator understands his creation. The creator does not need to become his creation to understand how we feel. No one died for no one. Every man will give account of his/her deeds according to how he lived his/life. [B]JESUS (PEACE BE UPON HIM) WILL ALSO GIVE ACCOUNT TOO!!!. [/b] He can neither create nor destroy. His miraculous birth si what is deceiving most of them. In that case, Adam should also be worshiped because he had no father and mother!!!

Mere looking at the lifestyle of their leasers, i get discouraged with the faith. World, World, Life !!!! thats what they all know. They talk nonsense. The church services are meaingless, just stories and stories. And when they begint so sing, they start shedding crocodile tears as if all is real. Ordinary celin dion sef can make someone cry,

Finally, make una stop to dey use islam as a comfort or to prove authenticity of your own flawed faith. It won't help

We need to exhibit the tolerance islam preaches here. What these xtians always try to do is to get on our nerves and when you reply, they begin to say rubbish.They are lost and we know it. No one can guide them except Allah himself and we should always give thanks to Allah that he has made us muslims. Lets always try to hear them out, don't abuse or insult them.

We should also know that what we are doing is dawah and may Allah reward all of us for it. If we all don't meet in person before we die, we will all meet in Al-Janah, Insha- Allah.

For your information, I am currently in the northern part of nigeria to do a job and would be returning to lagos soon. I have come to discover that most of the crisis in the north are POLITICAL! Even the northerners too can testify to that. those who are behind it are muslims and Allah will judge them. it doesnt change anything. It doesnt stop us from being muslims. All we can pray for is for Allah to expose those who are perpatrating evil in the name of Islam cos Islam is a beautiful religion. If only you knew !!!

And we found the language of Islamophobic columnists such as Toynbee, Liddle, or novelists such as Amis, duplicated by the British National Party and its growing band of supporters.

All over Europe, parties of the far right have been dropping their traditional hostility to minorities such as Jews and homosexuals; in Britain, the BNP has come to realise that anti-Semitism and anti-black campaigning won't work if they are serious about electoral success.

To move to mainstream respectability, they need an issue that allows them to exploit people's fears about immigrants and Britain's ethnic minority communities without being branded racist extremists.

They have found it. Since 9/11, and particularly 7/7, the BNP has gone all out to tap a rich vein of anti-Muslim sentiment. The party's leader, Nick Griffin, has described Islam as a "wicked, vicious faith" and has tried to distance himself and the party from its anti-Semitic past. Party members are now rebuked for discussing the Holocaust and told to focus on terrorism, the evils of Islam, and scare stories of Britain becoming an Islamic state.

Griffin's strategy has been inspired by the press. He said: "We bang on about Islam. Why? Because to the ordinary public out there it's the thing they can understand. It's the thing the newspaper editors sell newspapers with."

Last month, we visited Stoke-on-Trent, a BNP heartland with nine BNP councillors, a council second only to Barking and Dagenham in far-right representation. The party has made this progress in large part by mounting a vicious anti-Muslim campaign. Stoke has one of the lowest employment rates in the country since the pottery industry collapsed. The BNP has tried to link this decline to Muslim immigration.

But by the same token we believe that Muslims should be given the same protection as other minority groups from insults or ignorant abuse. This protection is not available. Ordinary Muslim families are virtually a silenced minority.

We should all feel ashamed about the way we treat Muslims, in the media, in our politics, and on our streets. We do not treat Muslims with the tolerance, decency and fairness that we often like to boast is the British way. We urgently need to change our public culture.

Salam alaykum, May Allah continue to be our guide. Recently, for the most part, I have only observed but I can tell you some names, actually, a given person , who continues to do this blasphemy against Islam. He goes by davidylan,dawi,4him and a host of other user IDs. He has been banned mulitple times so I really cannot tell how many more IDs he has. Most of the rest basically just follow his direction (auzhubiLLAh), Of note is his infamy at causing problems on any thread regardless of the topic (religion and others).

Yes we will be patient as muslims but if the need arises, we should respond appropriately to the evildoers. I do not tend to generalize on the Christians because some of them are really peace loving (as Allah describes some people of the book).

Allah is our strenght. We are indeed blessed (and I mean blessed) to be muslims.
