THE POWER OF THE SEED

MEMORY VERSE: 1 Sam 1:5 But to Hannah he would give a double portion, for he loved Hannah, although the Lord had closed her womb.

Elkanah understood the power of the seed. He never allowed his wives and children go into God's house empty handed; he always put a seed in their hands. He even went so far as to sow on behalf of his unborn children by giving Hannah a double portion.

She knew that since she had a good ground (connection to the covenant), and given the right seed, it was only a matter of time before the branches showed up.

Your connection to the living God is your greatest asset as it grants access to all the benefits in life. (Ecc.9:4) You might not have realized it, but there is always a seed in your hand. It does not have to be monetary in nature; it can be your praise.

When praise is introduced to a circumstance, it affects the foundation and causes a 'shaking'. Go ahead and employ the power of your seed today. Over those results you are yet to see and that repeated circle of failure, sow a seed by giving God your highest (and best) praise. Praise unlocks the door and breaks every yoke.

When we praise God, we do for Him what He cannot do for Himself and He in turn does for us what we cannot do for ourselves.

PRAYER: As I commit to a lifestyle of praising God, I experience a life of endless possibilities on all sides in Jesus' name.
