The Spirit of the Lord has been teaching me great things that really are the Truth of the gospel; the mystery of Jesus Christ who is the Word of God. These are Grace and Faith. Many people have spoken about Faith, but do not comprehend it themselves, save for the defintion by the Apostle Paul in Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
To begin in Faith, you have to believe there is a God who framed everything by His powerful Word. Jesus is that Word through Whom all things were created. And the Word is also Spirit.
God created you and I in His image and likeness, only if i were writing this to chickens, well chickens cant read, lol.. He calls those things that are not as though they were and expects nothing less from you, so in essence you do not go and create another heaven and earth, no, no, but you in Him declare according to His will and it comes to pass. Everything in Him are Yes and amen. Abraham simply believed God and He became righteous Rom 4:3. And he became the Father of all who believe. Rom 4:17.
So it is said: Repent and believe the gospel. To repent is translated from the Greek word metanoya, which means change your mindset. What was the sin of the children of Israel in the wilderness when God laid their carcasses about? UNBELIEF! Well and because they were under the wrath of the Law, but we grace.
So even the ungodly are justified if faith still dwells in them; The Hope of a better home/body. Rom 4:5-8. For by grace we are saved, not of works. Eph 2:4-8.
So how do those with little or no faith receive the gifts of God? By praying, fasting and hearing/reading the word of God Rom10:16-17 Seeing the great cloud of witnesses who believed and did exploits according to the levels of Faith that was in them. Jesus also said if you believe greater works would you do. In you is the power to outrun a missile, in you is the power to be unscathed by bombblasts, in you is the power to land a crashing plane with your hand, yes, what superman can do the power of the Ressurected saviour can do better. All of these are given freely by His grace. Shalom friends.
