Is it true that the tradidiotion of Ikwere people of Rivers State require that an Ikwere married woman who dies in her husband's house should be returned to her father's land for burrial? Any valuable contribution or reference about the culture is highly welcome.

Ikwerre women are buried in their husbands compound, but if you did not pay her bride price according to culture, the family may request for her corpse to be buried in her ancestral home, though some clans will request some part of the corpse as their tradition demands, some ijaw clans bury their wife @ he ancestral home,

I know some Ijaw, Itshekiri and a few others do that. They call it "bone must return to owner"
