A man from Yemen killed his 15 year old daughter for contacting her fiance before wedding. the man caught her on the phone chatting with her fiance and burnt her to death. The Yemeni have this custom of non-contact with one's fiance and any person who disobeys will be subjected to what they call "honour killing". Usually according to their law, a person who commits honour killing is not charged with murder but will be sentenced to between 6 months and 1 year in prison.
