GE’s N160bn investment in Nigeria to boost local content : General Electric, GE, the world's leading player in technological manufacture, deployment and skill capacity building, has said its current investment in a multi-million dollar facility in Calabar, Cross River State, was part of its vision to support the local content agenda in the country and impact positively on the economy.

More Foreign Investors Enter Nigeria : In furtherance of its overall local content drive, global infrastructure giants General Electric (GE) has attracted 3 Italian based investor-companies to Nigeria to explore partnership opportunities with indigenous Nigerian Engineering companies. The companies include Allimep, Duemme and Sime.

NIGERIA SIGNS N92BN PACT ON BURUTU INDUSTRIAL PARK : The federal government through the Nigeria Investment Promotion Council (NIPC) yesterday in Abuja consummated the signing of joint venture partnership agreement between Petro-Equip Engineering Company Limited and Akawa Global Services Limited on industrial and maritime projects in Burutu, Delta State.
