Burning right now at Martins Street Lagos island, causing panic in the 22-storey building as the road is totally blocked, the fire could have been a result of electricity wire interruptions but the situation is under control as only one fire service vehicle is present.
National Emergency Management Agency officials are still battling with the fire.

The Great Nigeria House on Martins Street, Lagos, owned by the Great Nigeria Insurance Company (GNIC), went up in flames.
With the incident, Great Nigeria House became the latest highrise property owned by the Oodua Group of Companies to be gutted by fire.
The Great Nigeria House is about the fourth building property owned by Odua Investment Limited to be gutted in Lagos.
