Amaka kept driving at the normal speed, as her mind kept driving around, there was the urge to increase her speed and get this over with but she didn't, she knew something was not wrong but she couldn't pin down what it is, she was at work when she got the call from her mother.

"You need to be here Amaka, its serious" her mother had said pleadingly

"But mama I was at your place yesterday, what is it"

"Your father is here, Amaka, pls come"

After about 5 mins of shock and silence, she finally said

"What does he want mama, we owe each other nothing"

"You need to speak with him Amaka, please"

And at that she had left the office and into her car, if he came for forgiveness, she couldn't afford it, what he did to her childhood was bad but what he did to her mother was worse, how can her mother even let him into her house not to talk of calling her for him, maybe her mother was capable of forgiving that heartless bastard but she wasn't, and she was ready to make that known, because to her, his sins are unforgivable

Chidera stood at the entrance of her bungalow and waited for her daughter's arrival, she left her husband in the sitting room with his regrets, if Amaka refuses to forgive her father, nobody would blame her, infact if she should forgive him, people would blame her.
Chidera had been more than surprised to see Nnamdi dat morning, after 15 years, she was getting ready for evening mass when her maid came in to inform her of a visitor, on getting to her visitor's room, she saw him standing there, he looked weak and rough, thin and broken, the sight of him was bad enough but when he knelt down in front of her, crying out his pains, it was then Chidera realised that the man she knew, he wasn't the same man who had left her daughter in the hospital to die.
