Lack of regulation nd supervision is also a problem. It is d duty of local councils to oversee abattoirs. In lagos, we have lots of dirty abattiors thatpay attention to the health of Nigerians. They just throw the meat on dirty floor and end up with opinion that the meat will be washed and cooked. I just pity people that end up buying cheap food that will definitely kill them.
