Boy shut up! My cousin schools in Eshoot or ESUT, he can count at least 5 murder cases everyday that happens in enugu. Recently enugu was branded the crime capital of Nigeria. Can you beat that? Enugu has been taking the lead in octogenerian molest@tion, kidnapping, ritual killing, arm robbery, campus cultism, etc, instead what the vegetable governor is busy doing is to fight with his wife everyday like an ediot.

Enugu has been so insecure from the time immemorial. If people are not being attacked by hoodlums, they are attacked by arm robber or campus cultists. No wonder no investor has accepted to drop a pin in the damn Enugu. Even the international terminal will fail real soon because people will hardly use enugu route due to high insecurity in the town.

sammer4life: Without mincing words, Enugu state is damn too insecured. I'm a full blooded Wawa man, raised in Onitsha, but presently living in Enugu. I feel more comfortable in Onitsha than Enugu. Enugu where almost every guy is a cultist. Don't mind the cars being donated to the police by the govt. ENUGU IS UNSAFE.

sammer4life: People can be funny. Night life in Enugu........ yes. But have u stepped out in one of those nights ? I can tell you honestly that the night life you guys brag about exists only in New haven and independence layout. Don't go near abakpa, emene or obiagu after 7pm. Even taxis avoid those areas.

You are living in denial!

all the cities has nite areas and non nite areas. The population of Anambra is thrice that of enugu state, why is that? Does it not show you that more people are trooping to Anambra than they do to enugu?

The clear fact is that enugu is such an insecure place no wonder there is no private establishments create the needed employment. This has turned enugu into killing field and arm robbers capitals. we are not talking about the menace of cultists in enugu.

A 46-year old woman, Mrs. Eunice Titilayo Ogundele, was allegedly raped then murdered at Igede Ekiti, weekend, by yet to be identified persons.
According to the husband of the deceased, Mr.Michael Ogundele, his wife left home in the early hours of Friday for a church service at her pastor’s residence.
He said she was allegedly hit with a pestle on the head by her assailants on the way.
Ogundele in tears said: “Yesterday (Thursday) which was a market day, she went to the market and returned home to rest.
“This morning (Friday), we went our different ways after I opened the door a little after five o’clock. She left for an early morning church service at her pastor’s residence.
“We went our separate ways at Igede-Ado road. I did not know I was seeing her for the last time. Few minutes to six they called me to come to somewhere in the town. I went and met my wife dead with two deep wounds on her head.”
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Victor Olu Babayemi, who confirmed the incident said a suspect has been arrested and is making confessions.
Babayemi said: “I can confirm that someone is now in custody in respect of the rape and murder of a woman at Igede Ekiti and is making useful confessions.
“We are trying to see if other arrests could be made in the course of the investigation which is ongoing.” VANGUARD
