EX-ASUU President Iyayi Dies In Motor Accident On His Way For ASUU Meeting.

The former President of the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU), Dr. Festus Iyayi is dead.

Dr Iyayi died this morning in an auto crash on his way to Kano to participate in tomorrow’s National Executive Council Meeting of union.

ASUU is expected to announce the suspension of the five-month strike that had paralyzed academic activities in the Nation’s varsities at the meeting.

ASUU President Is Dead!
Now that the ASUU strike has taken the life of their former
President, Dr Iyayi, the Association will call us off the strike.
All they wanted was blood, they have gotten it. It is a shame.
Do we know how many students that must have lost their lives,
buried and forgotten as a result of these reckless strike.
Most ladies will not go back to school as some of them may be
pregnant and will not cope or combine properly with their present
condition and studies.
These are cost, no one will bother to quantify. Now that over
N220 billion and N68 billion are almost in ASUU pocket, they
should not forget that all eyes are on them.
All dreams of converting these money into private funds must be
checkmated by all means.
