Though we all have our individual differences but lets not take away the fact that there are principles and values governing our existence on earth.
Below are some of the tips that could help us have a good life if we apply it appropriately...

Live Today: Past can’t be brought back and the future will always be uncertain. Today is yours, so make the most of it.

Maintain Balance: Your life is affected by the four aspects that are mental (brain), emotional (heart), spiritual (faith) and physical (body). Learn to maintain balance of the four elements, for there is a saying that, “Too much of something is bad”.

Forgive and Forget: The only person that suffers when you do not forgive is YOU. The other person is probably caring less of what you feel. Be kind to yourself and forget about it the wrong doings of people towards you.

Accept Change as Part of Life: The more you can adapt to change, the easier your life is because change can open bigger and better possibilities for you, if only you’d accept it.

Visit places you’ve never been: Seeing a new place let you discover and learn more of other things in your life. It helps you expand your perspective and horizon.

Always Read Books: The best way to live is through continuously learning. Try to be better than “normal” yourself. Keep expanding and growing.

Take Time to Make Memories and Keep Your Diaries: We should not wait for memories to happen, we should make memories happen. Find time to create memories with others. Make a note of each moment you do not want to forget, both the good and bad. Read your diary once in a while to see how far you’ve gone along. Surely, it will make you SMILE.

Live within your means, budget if necessary and recycle as much as possible to save funds and your environment.

Pay attention to your thoughts, feelings and actions: let go of any feelings that may cause you or other people harm. Its similar to forgive and forget.

Help others: Open the door for someone, carry things for someone. Just add value to someone's life.

Learn to Appreciate the things that you have, you won't have them forever after all.

Learn and Practice kindness and tolerance: Especially with yourself, if you can't be kind to yourself, you can't be kind to others.

Always Smile. Occasionally the main reason we don't is because our faces have settled into a dour expression. Use those smile muscles everyday!!

Exercise and eat healthily: Have good and regular exercises and eat only healthy foods.

Meet friends and keep contact with those you appreciate and appreciate you. Friends that use you as a comfort rug or doormat may be exploiting you and your well-being. Know your neighbours, family and people around you, while respecting their privacy.

Try to fix your own problems, that way you can understand them better.

Explore and Experiment: Try new ideas, cuisines, cultures, courses & languages. By taking a gamble on things and working with the results is truly living.

Set your limits: know what you can do, what you can accept. Practice equanimity for the things you can't.

Capture the Moments: The ability to retrieve a memory decreases exponentially unless boosted by artificial aids like photographs and videos. Start taking those pictures you’d like to look back in your old days.

Listen attentively to the Elders: Listening to the old ones makes you a year wiser. Remember, the best way to learn and avoid extreme failure is through the experiences of others.

Accept and Manage your Failure: Do not be afraid to make mistake. Most successful people have gone thru multiple failures. A great treasure of wisdom is hidden on every failure.

Just Take a Break: Reward yourself for a days’ work. Take that break, you deserve it and you need it in re-energizing yourself to another day of work.

Work Smart, Not Hard: The most stressed people are those who do not know how to work smart. Do not take the entire task to yourself. Remember, you are not alone in this world. Learn to maximize and trust the abilities of others. It’s not a weakness to ask for help.

Be Yourself: Don’t try to act like someone else just to please everyone. You don’t have to, and you can’t. Stand firm to who you are. Eventually, you’d discover who are worth keeping in your life from those who are not.

Discover Your Purpose in Life: Life is a journey. As you go along your journey, set your maps. Discover the right YOU at the right place and time. To help you discover, ask yourself, “If there was no praise or criticism in the world, then who would you be?” Once you know the answer, you are right there.

Move Closer to God: Never forget your creator, look up to him for guidance and sure protection. Do everything you can to be closer to him by praying to Him, praising Him and reading His word!
