After a two-week hiatus for international football the Barclays Premier League returns for Matchweek 12 with Saturday’s Merseyside derby kicking off a full programme over three days.
Ahead of the action here are some facts and figures you may or may not know be aware of, including why Everton’s Romelu Lukaku will be looking forward to the Merseyside derby.

Of the nine Merseyside derbies that Everton have won in the Barclays Premier League, seven have been at Goodison Park.
Liverpool have lost just one of their last 13 Merseyside derbies in the Barclays Premier League (W7 D5 L1).
There have been 20 red cards given in the 42 Barclays Premier League matches between Everton and Liverpool; at least six more than in any other fixture in the competition.
Everton have been given 13 of these red cards, the most by a side against a single opponent in Barclays Premier League history.
Everton are on a run of five hours and 30 minutes without conceding a goal in the Barclays Premier League.
Luis Suarez has scored eight goals in his six Barclays Premier League appearances this season, averaging a goal every 67 minutes. He has also scored in his last two Barclays Premier League appearances at Goodison Park.
Romelu Lukaku scored in both of his Barclays Premier League appearances last season for West Brom against Liverpool.

Arsenal have not lost a top-flight home match against Southampton since November 1987, winning 13 and drawing five of their 18 matches since.
Only Arsenal (22) have won more points in the Barclays Premier League since the start of September than Southampton (18).
Arsenal have the chance to win five successive Barclays Premier League matches at Emirates Stadium for the first time since April 2012.

Swansea City have won three of their previous four Barclays Premier League meetings with Fulham (L1).
The eight goals Swansea have scored in their last six Barclays Premier League outings have all been in the second half.
Wilfried Bony has scored 10 goals in 18 competitive appearances for Swansea this season, including three in his last two appearances.
Five of Swansea’s 15 Barclays Premier League goals this season have come from set-piece situations – they only scored five in this manner in the whole of 2012-13.

Only Arsenal and Chelsea (10) have had more individual goalscorers than the Potters (9) this season in the Barclays Premier League.
Stoke have conceded six headed goals this season; a joint-high in the Barclays Premier League with Fulham.
The Potters are also one of only three sides yet to score a headed goal in the Barclays Premier League this season, alongside Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
