As long as u don't understand righteousness u can't rule ur world, u hav to be awake in righteousness. Once u r not righteous u can be in de son but de Son is not in u.
God bestowed righteousness So Dat u can do right.
Righteousness is right standing wit God, it is de believer bill of right.. Righteousness is standing before God without any sense of sin, guilt, or inferiority. The day u receive Jesus u became righteous.
Righteousness is a gift u didn't merit it, Roman 5:17. 2cor 5:21.
Wen u r established in righteousness
(1) U Wil be far frm oppression
(2) U Wil hav no fear. Wen u knw God luvs u it Wil cast out all fear 1john 1:18
(3)U Wil be far frm terror Issue 54:14

This is the one of the best heritage Christians have in Christ and many Christians are still seeking their own righteousness, not accepting the righteousness of God. Everything the Bishop said about righteousness is absolute truth and I only hope to say few things on this words of his below:

God bestowed righteousness so that you can do right.

The day I understood this truth ^ above, my whole life changed. Salvation is a complete package that comes with righteousness, deliverance, all things that pertains to life and godliness etc. In us, at salvation is deposited righteousness of Christ so we are not working for righteousness but working OUT OUR righteousness which is same as working out your salvation (salvation already have righteousness in it).

When I always attack preacher on this forum who teach law as a means of correcting the Christian morals, it is because teaching law is fueling sin nature but teaching righteousness is fueling the righteous nature which brings the awareness of doing right out of our righteous nature. The Church need to teach righteousness more and that's what gradually corrects to maturity of believers, then they can start acting right as it is called.

If you want to live right as a christian, you must work for it through conscious effort in persistent prayer,self disciple & other spiritual exercises.This is the method Christ used,and the same the apostles used and the same other well meaning christians used generations past.There is no other method.
