6am Alarm; am off my bed on my way Out, took bike to my junction and waited for the glorious, legendary danfo to take me to my destination. Years back, what took over lagos road was Molue, now we hardly see them on our roads except in remote places. As I sat down looking through the window, I saw other 'Danfos' some clean some rugged, so half past dead, Even the magnificent BRTs can't stand them. Now I imagine in the next 10-20yrs, will this rugged, brutal machines stand the test of time, and if they do, how long do you think they will be around? I think they are going to be around for a pretty long time, they will keep panel beating it and finding solutions to there different problems, because I don't see any bus that can stand the "ruggedity" . What's your take people?

What is "Danfo"?

Those danfo buses don't necessarily have to face extinction. As usual, the problem of those buses is just poor maintenance culture by their owners.
Road worthiness inspection should be taken seriously by FRSC.
