Selecting the Right Vehicle History Report

There are different reports on the history of vehicles obtained from the various sites available on the net. These reports contain reliable information on the different automobiles on sale. The prospective buyer definitely would find these helpful before he attempts to own any. These are extremely helpful especially when you wish to participate in online car auction because then you will definitely require as much inside information as possible.

Recently, a service free of cost, known as VinCheck, has been introduced that informs whether a car is a stolen one or not. It also detects the cars that are salvage vehicles and have been given up by the insurance companies. These would create trouble for the owner if he buys them without knowing the background. This site is not that comprehensive as the other sites because it provides only the basic information of the vehicle’s damage.

The AutoCheck is a site that keeps information of about sixteen million worth every year. For a single report the site takes 24.99 dollars but just for 39.9 dollars you can get unlimited information for two months at a stretch. This site also offers monetary protection for the car you buy from them. In case you find some vital information missing in their report after the purchase they will then offer a sum of 50, 000 dollars for the loss that you have incurred. They also have a buy back offer too. This site also keeps the rates along with the model numbers on display. This helps the buyer to compare the different vehicles.

The other agency that gained reputation over the years is Carfax. They started their service in 1986, by providing faxed reports to the buyers. Their reports comprised of the different problems that the owner could encounter when he purchases a used car. With over three million vehicle history records, Carfax claims to be the largest agency at present. The buy back offer is here too if some critical information is left out in the report and the owner faces serous trouble due to it. The report of this agency is comprehensive and even the detailed accounts of salvage cars is also mentioned.

Used cars USA are no longer risky to buy because the total appraisal of the cars can be seen in the reports of Carfax. However specialists in car buying trade ado have a word of advice for the naïve owner. Everything that is reported in the appraisal is what they have been told. It may not be true. Chances are that the reported information may not have happened at all. Therefore it is important to do your own homework besides what the agencies say.

There are sites that give you information at a discount rate. Besides VinCheck, the others doing well in this trade are AutoCheck and Carfax. No matter which you prefer to choose for yourself, the fact that these agencies are collecting more information and are coming up with more reports proves that this a popular business and is here to stay.

Get the most reliable car to import at the cheapest rate!!!

There are certain facts about the Japanese cars (even the used ones) that should be known. The Used Japanese Cars gained popularity in 1970’s when Nissan and Toyota emerged to be the global leaders in the automobile industry. Japanese cars came into the limelight because of some major factors like their fuel efficiency and their compactness.

The Hinode Motors product Toyota started operating from the Aichi Prefecture in the year 1935 and the Toyota logo was established in 1936. The Toyota Motor Sales Company that was established in the year 1950 had spread globally from Thailand (Asia) to North America (U.S.A). Through this long journey, Toyota emerged as one of the major companies producing the highest number of automobiles in the year 2007. (information taken from http://www.toyota.co.jp/en/history/index.html).

The Datson company came into existence in 1911 when a professionally trained engineer from America by the name of Sotaro Hashimato joined hands with three other people and created the company Kwaishinsha. On 26th December, 1933, the company Nissan was established and it took over the manufacturing of Datsons from another automobile division called Tobata casting company limited. On 1st June, 1934, the company got a new name – Nissan Motor Company Limited. Yoshisuke Aikawa, a brilliant leader from Nissan Combine was its founder. His plans were grand – to produce en mass 10000 – 15000 units every year and was all set to put his plans into practice.

The Japanese manufacturers have this great ability to become legends especially in the field of automobile industry. Their speciality lies in the fact that they give first priority to the needs of their customers and leave all else behind. This pure Japanese tradition has produced great results in the market. Today, we have Suzuki, Mazda, Honda, Subaru, Daihatsu and Mitsubishi as few of the biggest names amongst automobile manufacturers.

During the year 1980, the new system of fuel injection was put into use and the conventional system of carburetor distribution of fuel was replaced. The Japanese also introduced the computer tracker system in the car which upgraded all the previous models. This small computer fixed underneath the dash was able to identify and pinpoint even the smallest problem occurring in the car. Along with these latest technologies, there was also an improvement in the drive axle system and the interiors were made more luxurious. All these facts were enough for the Japanese companies to leave behind their counterparts.

The used Japanese cars are always in demand especially for those customers who fail to afford the brand new ones. Another positive point about them is the fact that most of them are available at the dealer auto auction and yards with absolutely full proof service papers. This makes these used Japanese cars quite a good bargain for all!

Toyota - the symbol of power and play!!

A multinational corporation from Japan, Toyota today is one of the largest automakers in the world. Headquartered in Japan, the brand got its name from its pioneer Kiichiro Toyoda. Toyota is one popular brand that has its operation and manufacturing plants in more than 20 countries across the world including Thailand, Mexico, UK, China, Australia just to name a few. Still people today prefer to export Toyota car from USA because of the reliable sources in the country. The G1 and A1 passenger cars were the first ever cars sold by Toyota.

Toyota cars for sale are quite a scene. With models such as Innova, Corolla ltis, New Land Cruiser, New Prius, New Camry, Fortuner, etc on display, the public auto auctions and salvage auto auction of Toyota cars are simply a crowd puller. Toyota matches the expertise and experience lacking in most of the cars of the era. The Toyota cars are an ensemble of fantastic quality, luxury, versatile space, legendary safety and exceptional style and durability. This makes the used Toyota cars as fetching as the new ones.

These days the online Toyota car auction is also a hit. People visit certain popular websites like auctionexport.com to buy Toyota car online. Auto Warranty Tips for Car Owners

In the history of contemporary automotive, the current scenario is the most turbulent one. Several dealerships have been closed after General Motors and Chrysler have gone bankrupt. All this is causing a lot of confusion and worry for the consumers. A few questions that are important have been answered below.

If the car brand is declared bankrupt

When a brand is in a mess financially, another brand takes over it. As a result, the consumer suffers less. On going totally bankrupt, a service on warranty is generally provided by its sister concerns, provided the extended warranty was given by the manufacturer.

In cases where the parent company shuts operation

All those automaker companies that are declared bankrupt, continue manufacturing automobiles, but decrease their workforce. The Federal Government, on 30th March, 2009, assured to support the warranties of local vehicles manufactured by Chrysler and GM. The buyers automatically qualify for this warranty.

Resale value of a car falls, if a brand closes, or declared bankrupt by the parent company. A better idea would be to drive it till its extended warranty period.

In cases where the local dealer shuts operation

881 auto dealerships shut operations in 2008 and the consumers got affected in many ways.

Having to travel beyond your city limits to get the service of warranty is one of the disadvantages. If the work needs more time than a few hours, then it can be a pain.
Though the short-term benefit in case of shutting down of dealerships may be beneficial to consumers in terms of vehicles being sold off at throw away prices, in long-term disadvantage can be more comparatively, as lesser dealerships implies high prices for a new car because of less competition.
It also means reduced options in terms of number of brands available in the market when a consumer wants to buy a new car.
Getting service on warranty or any other post-purchase service may get very difficult, if the car has been bought from a single dealer which has shut down its operations locally.
The sales unit of new cars may be shut down by many dealers, but the one for used cars may continue to operate as that yields higher profits.
In situations where the extended –warranty dealers shut operations, it can cause real inconvenience. Extended warranty can be of three types -:

Manufacturer backed – These are applicable all over the nation. The warranty is honored either by the federal government, or the parent company.

Dealership-backed – This is applicable only with the dealership from whom the car has been purchased. You can have real trouble, if the dealership shuts down.

Independent – These are third parties who provide warranty but in several cases, they shut down abruptly.

Many dealerships provide their own warranty as they earn more profit from this than the warranty provided by the manufacturer. In case where a dealer has sold a third party warranty to you and the third party has shut down, you can request the dealership which is still in operation to assist you with the service. The dealer may also provide you with a considerable discount, when it provided you the replaced warranty.

All this doesn’t mean you need to sell off your vehicle and invest in something new. Keeping your vehicle is a much smarter decision, as the resale value of cars has dropped in the current market. Even if you are planning to buy a new car, you needn’t worry much as the warranty extended by the car manufacturers will hold to be valid in one way or the other. Moreover, you can avail a new car at a real cheap price, when these dealerships plan to shut operations.

The Rules of Buying Damaged Cars from Insurance Companies

If you are looking for salvaged cars the best place to find them is the insurance company. They usually have a collection of cars damaged by accidents or some natural calamity. The cost of repair at times exceeds the market value of the car. It is then taken up by the insurance company. There are certain steps you should take if you wish to buy a salvaged car. You must have your cash ready before you go to buy the car. Make an estimate of how much you may need for the car and stay prepared because there are times when the payment needs to be made immediately. Payment options can be enjoyed from certain car auctions. The next step is to keep a close watch for car auctions where you will get to see a wide variety of cars ready for sale. Before buying the car have a good look at it. There are insurance companies that sell their damaged cars to auction houses.

How To Successfully Understand A Used Car Dealer In A Used Car Auction

For most of us, purchasing a new car is a big issue. Therefore it is crucial that you buy your used car well after doing adequate background research. Do some enquiry regarding the reputation if the dealer used cars agent that you wish to make your purchase from. Many a times it so happens that you get a negative response of an otherwise excellent seller or vice versa. Do ask at least a few people, before taking a decision.

1. The best way to start doing your background research for used cars (USA or any other country) is by asking sensible questions that relate to your doubts as a customer. Ask how many years has the company been into this business, and find out from the local group of consumers if they have ever been charged for unfair practices. The Better Business Bureaus can also let you know if they have any records of complaints relating to the dealer in question. You may also check for the complain list (both resolved and unresolved). If may help to know that generally the resolved complaints in such systems of reporting tend to be forgiven.

2. Have a face to face talk with the business’s office personnel. Let them explain their policies, and tell you how they please their customers in case they do not seem satisfied with their purchase. You may ask them to explain their theories with some examples of past issues, and make them mention things clearly in detail, so you know they really mean what they say.

3. Generally local automobile dealers of the related area of the used car auction have a lot of idea about the dealers and the kind of products they tend to sell. Ask them for their comments, and make a note of the overall impression they seem to have.

4. Having a talk with the sales people in the local area of the business can also be a good idea. See if they have any specific inputs or stories from customers. Keep these opinions in your mind and use them to form your own judgment after collecting all facts.

5. A smart tactics would be to go online, and get in touch with people who are willing to share their experiences with the car dealer with you. As already said, do not just focus on one customer with his or her opinion to base your judgment on. Keep what they said in mind and do a thorough research. It is always noted that dealers who are known to have better credibility related to their after sale services, tend to make better dealers in used cars

.And now for some extra advice
• Have a talk with your banker regarding the various reviews on the business of used cars. They are often well aware of the particularly infamous dealer used car agents, and can warn you much beforehand.
• It is best not to trust dealers who appear to be advertising credit that is too very easy for you to opt for. Beware of cars that maybe inferior in quality and could have been bought after severe damage and repair work. In such dealerships the interest rates are usually quite high, so take this factor into account. It is after all best to avoid getting a car that barely works properly and only brings you a lifetime of huge loan.

Why is it better for me to let Auction Export to close the deal instead of just me buying the car directly from the selling dealer?
One of the reasons is that you are the international buyer, and when purchasing from a dealer there is no guarantee that he will be honest with you. Also he will have to sell you the car as retail, and in some cases dealers can charge you sales tax. If we will close the deal for you, we will buy that car as a wholesale unit, we do not pay any retail or sales taxes, and we can better negotiate the deal.

How will my cars be shipped?

Your cars will be shipped by “RORO” or “Container” shipping.

RORO: Your vehicle will be delivered directly to the exit port in NJ, MD, GA, FL, TX, CA or Halifax Nova Scotia for Canadian shipments. When the vehicle arrives to the port the title/ownership and accompanying documents are submitted to U.S. Customs. Please note, NJ customs are overburdened due to very high volume, and delays are not uncommon. The vehicle will be loaded onto the next vessel with available cargo space.

Container Shipping: Your vehicle will be delivered to an Auction Export warehouse in NJ, GA, TX, CA or for Canadian shipments Toronto, ON.,Montreal QC., A 40ft container can hold up to 5 vehicles and if you are shipping a full container load the container will be loaded upon vehicles arrival at the warehouse. You will be provided with a container number which you can use to get an updated position of your cargo. If you are shipping a single vehicle then it will be consolidated into a container with other vehicles and loaded as soon as all the vehicles arrive at the warehouse. When the container is loaded it will be transported to the port and loaded onto a vessel the following week.

What is consolidation?

Consolidation is when you only have one car to ship but you do not want to pay for the whole 40 feet container. Our shipping company will consolidate your car to several of popular destinations. For example, if your car is consolidated with 2 other cars in a 40 feet container, you are ending up paying only 1/3 from the price of 40 feet container. If there is no consolidation to your port, we can ship a car in 20” dedicated container.

On auction export, you can find various kinds of old to latest Acura models, such as CL, MDX, TL, SLX, TSX, Integra, RSX, RDX, Legend, MDX, RL, NSX, besides many others. Generally you will have a lot of options to choose from in each category. These cars are available in various price ranges depending on the special features, modifications, and other obvious factors that make the cost of a car. The final price of the car however is decided by the buyers themselves, since cars are sold here strictly by an auction process.

The procedure to buy an Acura is simple. All you need to do is get yourself registered, deposit the money needed and make your bid. Once you win the bid, you need to make the necessary payments, so they can ship the car to Nigeria. The exact shipment cost would vary according to the number of vehicles you purchase and the exact location where the vehicle is situated at the time of sale.

The great thing about these kinds of online auctions is that complete details are provided about the car, and the shipment procedures employed are totally reliable. Thus all you need to do is check your facts correctly and get what is just right for you.

You can use our shipping calculator to get the idea how much the shipping is going to cost. However, the shipping calculator will only give you a rough estimate, because shipping price depends on the size and weight of the vehicle. For exact quote please contact our shipping department at shipping@auctionexport.com.
