He wipes the pipe clean
Blows in wind to clear the hollow
Getting his tool set and skills right
Today, He’s got praises to sing
To earn his thirty pieces of silver

Two days ago, he gave damnation
Yelled at the robber for taking it all
He lightened the faces of the robbed
He made himself a god, a deliverer!
He put his name in the robber’s head!

Yesterday, the robber called
It’s not about the status quo
It’s not about the piper’s trodden fans
It’s about his tune, the delivery!
It’s about business, about his skills

He’s got a long day ahead
They’ve made him a stool at the palace
A golden pipe and handsome remuneration
To calm the agitated masses
And heighten the robber’s ego
