Have you ever asked yourself the purpose of your existence,why you are still alive despite the odds of life? Why are you born into that family? Why are you married to that spouse and not someone else? Why are you unemployed despite your academic achievement and intelligence? Why are you living in that particular accommodation of yours? Why are you in that city? Why are you still single despite your beauty and handsomeness? Why are your children so troublesome despite your sincere practical training? Why have you failed so many times in business where others have succeeded with little or no effort? Why? Why?? Why Because you are alive to fulfill a purpose which you are probably yet to discover.

Your sincere response to the above questions will give you an insight into "why am I here?". Understanding God's purpose for your life will make you appreciate Him in all situations instead of complaining and murmuring. You probably might not have achieve your dreams and goals this year. Don't be bitter against yourself. Your present failure may be as a result of lack of direction or operating at another person's purpose instead of yours. There's hope for you if you can sit down, take stock and find out your purpose of existence. You will have testimonies by next year if you do. You must remember that one bad habit can hinder God's purpose for your life from being fulfilled. It is not too late. You can fulfill your purpose on earth by connecting to the source- JESUS. Let me explain this briefly; in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man, Jesus said Abraham was sitting on Throne in Heaven and Lazarus in his footstool. Though Lazarus made Heaven, he was in the low ranks. When he was here on earth, he was poor and sick. I think his faith level is low because the righteous shall live by his faith.

This story also made us to realize that this poor wise man did not have economic, family, and high level spiritual vision for his life. If he did, then he will live the Heaven on Earth lifestyle before going to Abraham’s bosom. To succeed and be fulfilled requires that you carve out vision for your life. Life is a gift; you have to make out of it a gift to give to others for you to be fulfilled. You can never do this without a vision that will take you there. Majority thinks that dreams are their friends. Don’t make that mistake, your dream is your enemy, your dreams are always beckoning to you to put on a fight against you, warning you never to come near to fulfill it, unless you want to die. With vision, you can map out the strategy to fight against your dream, conquer it and make it your best friend.
