FOR STUDENTS

In 2002,dia was an ASUU strike dt
spanned for six
months! I was a remedial
student!.an average
student!,so I maximally read all my
courses via
those six months so as to be
abreast with exams
wheneva we resumed! ASUU,d
leadin Nija striker called off her
strike afta
six months,i then took my old
bags,went to d
park, boarded for Mkd... with all d
jonimesis,I reached south core to
my
room C 40!.
Lo and behold, exams started on a
monday afta a
week of revision!.
D invigilation of exams was
designed in such a
way dt ur neighbors in d exam
halls were not your level,different
courses and well spaced aisles
between desks to fight any form
of girrafing!...ex
am mal-practice was truly hell of
an option.it was
supposed to b far away from d
halls!... ''all man to his booklet and
surname'' ...hehe Now,in my exam
hall, dia was ds man in his
second extra yr.A stunch political
student with a
very good command of queens
english..failure of
d course he was writting would
attract no award
of degree. All his yrs of swoting
and burning nyt
candles would b in vain! .He
couldnt just take chances!...he
came prepared wt ''CHOKES''. D
invigilators, Ibanga and co
obliviously put ds man
to lead d attack of d exam hall.i
was lucky to b a
winger to enjoy atleast d air
billowing d windows
of room A 91 amid sweat and
exam fever. Sittin in front and
having nothing to write afta
two hrs,he started complainin
saying
confidently...oga,ds place wey
una tire me,i no go
fit chop grass abeg!...I no like ds
seat...d invigilator
asked him...U b goat?...u wan chop
grass!?... he complained till he was
taken to d last seat of d
hall!.... Aaaaa!.jungle don
mature!..I fit chop grass
here! He smiled!...brought out his
chokes and
started copying!... B4 I cud say
Jack robbison,he was caught red
handed by an invigilator!!!...
damn!...EXPULSION!!!.. He stood
up and was
speaking to himsef...mba sha ya
yar tom ve kure
ve ...i.e my village ppl don
accomplish dia mission
today!!!..then don scata my
career.na so dis guy
take leave sch in tears oh! . .
Epilogue!!!

1.Our academic system is
becoming sick!....
agreed! But If d street is
becoming military,everyb
ody has to b a soldier to survive!
During ASUU
strikes,students must try as
much as possible to
take advantage of dis bad break
to read those
courses that are difficult to them!

2.In d NAME OF GOD!!!...stop
blaming ur village ppl
for ur failures!...call on God who
created u to give
u d wisdom to read ur courses!

3.NEVA TAKE PAPERS TO EXAM
HALLS NO MATTER
HOW UNPREPARED U R FOR D
EXAM...

4.if them tire u were grass no dey
but safety
dey,abeg,make u stay dia quietly!

5.finally,we must all learn to take
advantage of
delays in our lives!... Na out of love
I de
talk!.

What about those who never envisaged the prolong strike action and as a result didn't bring home their texts from skul.

a reasonable, determined and discipline student should have left school with his/her text books. Even if the strike wil only last for 2wks. I could remeber i told my frnd ensured you travelled with your course material.
This your comment is not a welcoming 1 at al

For someone like me picking up school books during this period is a waste of time, I tried reading @ the onset of the strike and the books just didnt make anysense to me, I guess thats because I get easily bored and thats y I devoted my time into reading books that covers other things apart from my academics
