predicament,i decide against it for some
reason.perhaps,due to d recent turn of event
in my life,i've made up my mind to let u all know what's @ stake as per my health condition, having sent
S.O.S to organisations & some of my ex course mates; including d govt of cross river state where I'm from.
. . . i went for ENT evaluation d following
year at LUTH & my audiogram result
indicated moderate hearing loss and tinitus
(ringing in d ear) following which a hearing
aid was recommended,to restore my
hearing.due to d cost(75k then),i couldn't
afford it.. . . in 2010 i
went for another evaluation at UCTH,only to
b diagnosed with severe hearing loss.again,i
couldn't afford d hearing aid even though i
had part of d money which i later spent on
my late father's treatment.d recent
evaluation was done last year and d result
was a bit worse cos i'll need 250k for a
behind-the-ear hearing aid,though d doc
recommended two @ 500k for balanced
hearing,i can still survive with 1.this is just d
first part of my problem.
. . .i've developed anxiety n
fear,with a sharp rise in my b.p including
weight loss due to constant thinking about d
trajectory of my life.honestly i'm yet to
graple with dis downward turn in my
life.becos of dis fear and anxiety,i am mostly
indoor for days. . .i'm not really active enough to
go round n fight for it.to think that we r
entitled to over #5million of my dad's
pension n we r suffering. . .i'd like to solicit ur help,if
there's a way any one can help me reach out to
any philantropist or such organisations that
can help me salvage d situation. . .
my life is @ its lowest ebb & i'm ready to do
anything to get out of it so i don't vanish
into oblivion.though i had every thing
mapped out,i never envisaged my life
plummeting to this abyss(permit me). . . .

It breaks my heart to see and hear of people suffering needlessly, especially if I'm not able to help as much as I'd like.

It's terrible that the OP had tried hopelessly to contact government agencies and charitable organisations but ended up with nothing. This could happen to anyone - and it has happened to many!

I had started a thread about lawmakers, etc. I think my own little contribution would be to update it regularly from now on, to include all our representatives, so that we know who to harass go to when we need their assistance - whether they will help is another matter. That is why they are there anyway - to represent their constituencies. I am sick of it. They need to know their first duty is to the people.
