Wayne Rooney has reached another milestone in his career by taking his goal tally for Manchester United to 151 with a brace in the 2-2 at Tottenham. He is now the fifth highest Premier League scorer, with 164 including his strikes for boyhood club Everton. A fresh-faced Rooney was the Toffees’ second youngest ever player behind Joe Royle, who went on to manage the club. But it was his strike against Arsenal – when he became the youngest ever goalscorer in the Premier League – that brought him wider acclaim in October 2002.
