It all started with the sighting of strange-looking men dressed all in black at one of the English Premier League matches; precisely the Chelsea v Manchester City game on the 27th of October 2013. I thought it had to do with a upcoming Halloween stunt.

It turned out to be a Samsung fantasy-inspired, football-themed campaign. A campaign to save the world by selecting 11 top-class football players as they come together and attempt to save Earth from alien domination.

Samsung enlisted international football legend, Franz Beckenbauer, to serve as the manager of GALAXY 11, and has announced Lionel Messi, Oscar, Victor Moses, Stephan El- Sharaawy, Mario Götze, Wu Lei, Falcao, Lee Chung-Yong.
