We all know that android is a product of Google as blackberry is a product of Rim. But what baffles me is while bb users are enjoying their bis, android users are suffering from mb conundrum and this is annoying as a bb user can subscribe with 1k and get 2gig while an android user with the same amount will only get mb. If Rim could lobby its way through this service providers mind why can't google the richest company provide something better let's say with 1k you will get 4gig in (Ais). Am tired of seeing Glo now works on android, airtel has blocked bis on non bb and mtn this that. This people should act fast ooo or ......................

The reason why Blakberry users were (and still are) offered special data plans was because of their popularity back then. You may ask; "But android is now more popular and has a larger user base". Yeah, true. Network providers are reluctant because of the high rate at which android devices exhausts bandwidth. Since they are greedy and want to make excessive profits, they then refuse to offer cheaper data plans for android or iOS.
