With my 1st Child.My Expected date of birth (EDD) was on 25th December but I delivered on d 22nd.My 1st scan date gav me 22nd&my last scan date gav me 30th but dr calculated my date frm my last menstruation 2b 25th.

LABOUR EXPERIENCE
Labour started by 4am.A sharp pain woke me up&d pain continued then I knew I was in labour.The contractions were comin evry 15-20mins but wasn't lastin long.

1st of al;I sat on d toilet 2mak sure I pooed cos I didn't want 2poo on d labour table as som of my frnds did .Afta goin 2toilet,I took a hot water bath.One of d nurses told us durin antenatal dat hot water stimulates contraction&fastens labour.I stayed under hot shower for a while.I didn't want 2stay in labour 4long cos they said 1st timers,their labour last 24-48hrs.I was rejectin such

We got 2d hospital by 6.30am,by then my contractions were bcomin stronger.By 8am,they checked me&said I. Was4cm dialated.
I didn't c SHOW;neither did my water break.I started vommitin&they put drip 4me.

Labour is Hell on earth.D pain was so much dat I started screamin.They put oxygen 4me cos they said they didn't want me 2pass out bcom I was so distressed.

They said d vommitin helps 2push d baby dwn.They broke my water.Then by 10:45am;I delivered.

D pushin part is hell on earth.I pushed but they said I wasn't pushin enuf. Sh said I shld push lik I'm pushin out a hard stool whch I did&d baby cam out.No cut or tear.D placenta followed afterwards.Birth weight 3kg.

Labour experience is somthng else.
Pregnancy sef is easier!
Nothing can describe d pain a woman undergoes in labour.
These men shld start killing cow 4us afta going thru pregnancy&labour cos its damn tortious.

But at d end of dat unpleasant experience,wen u hear d crry of ur baby,looking at dat lovly little creature takes away d sorrow&pain.

My labour started one eventful Sunday night around 11pm.That aftanun,I pounded yam&did a lot of housewk so I don't knw if its d stress dat triggered off labour cos my date was stil 1wk away.I was 39wks then.

I didn't tak d pain seriously so I kept enduring til around 3am then d contraction bcam 2painful.We got 2d hospital&they check&they said I was 6cm dialated.

That Vag-examination is another thng al 2geda.So painful lik sey 2moro no dey.They set up drip 4me,I changed in2 d labour gown.At abt 6am,they broke my water&d pain bcam so unbearable dat I started beggin 4CS.Jeeeez

Lo&behold,I felt lik I wud poo-poo&they said its d head of d baby puttin pressure on my rectum.They put catheter&drained d urine frm my bladder.Next,they checked me again&told me dat I was ready 2deliver my baby dat once d contraction coms again dat I shld push.

With d nxt contraction,I pushed&they said wasn't pushin enuf.Kai,I said no way. I said Inshort i no fit do again.Anyway,I tried my best&ended up pushin out 2.8kg baby.Kai!! E no easy o

Share ur experience if u don't mind so dat 1st time mothers cud learn cos not evrythng we read on d net is true.Like what they said abt 1st timers been in labour for 48hrs.I was in labour for just 5-6hrs as a 1st timer wit d help of God though.

i laboured for 3days without improvement so had to get a Caeserean section done.it was tough with labor pains truout the 3days and my cute girl wasn't big(3.1kg).didn't wait for labor to commence for the 2nd so i had an elective Ceaserean section(booked C/S)and a handsome boy to show for it
