So that rat you have in your kitchen should be in the news for living in the same house with you rather than a 15 foot snake

Hero10001: If na rat dem kill, no news.
Just because it's a Snake, e make front page.

Afritop: What is wrong with wild life preservaation in nigeria

Nigerians don't plan into the future. Rather than invest some money into making a wildlife preserve, heck, a snake farm, where tourists can pay to view and watch the feeding, build a whole enterprise including selling t-shirts, mugs, taking pictures with tourists for a fee (I've paid to touch a python, the owner made great money), sell food, and grow a business that will hire at least 50....

...they kill it and sell for N10,000 and tomorrow look for more money to feed. Day to Day subsistence, rather than invest in a future, thats the Naija way.

Cold blooded: Is it me or ma imagination that refuses to believe that this picture is the real pic?

Why is everybody wearing cardigans and jackets as if they were in a temperate region? I expect to see a dirty farmer but what am seeing here is different
embarassed

May be they are Okada riders, may be. No offence or malice intended.

Sad.They are stripping the forest of the little wild creatures left. Most animals are extinct in nigeria because of the people's failure to domesticate chickens, goats, sheep and cattle. They keep hunting for bush meat
Re: Farmer Kills 15-foot Snake In Ekiti (Picture) by Nobody: 3:04pm On Dec 06, 2013
Why do some people talk like this! Ask questions before u make ridiculous conclusions cus u end up looking stupid. Ekiti is usually very cold in december. The harmatan there is really crazy. That's why u see everybody wearing such.

O.H D WISE:
Do farmers really put on cardigan(because of the heat and sweat)...all those in the pic are on cardigan,i find the picture strange..

The state is very cold ard dis time,u hav to put on cardigan,d coldness is as a result of hills, I served in dis state, I couldn't withold the cold,I ran back to lag most times.
