Going back to Anambra from Lagos after a two month stay for a programme.

I will be posting pictures of the journey as we proceed. I use Samsung galaxy note with 8.0mp camera but i reduced the resolution to 2.0mp so that the pictures will upload fast and save my data.( average size of a pic taken with the 8.0mp is 4 to 5 mb.)

Knowing what 3.75G internet connection does to the battery of smartphones, i have 2 extra batteries fully charged preparatory for journey.

I woke up at 4:30am so i can meet up with the first bus.

Take off point is GRA Ikeja. Got to Jibowu a 5:45 am, bought a ticket and now waiting for theb18 seater bus to get filled.

We eventually left the park at 6:50am. Still having difficulty uploading the poctures as i am still having 2.7mb photos after reducing the camera resolution to 2mp. I have reduced again to 0.3mp so let me try again.

Meanwhile i am seated behind the driver.

Lagos- Ibadan expressway.

Heavy trafic as usual.

Due to the heavy trafic, it took us 1hr, 45mins to get to Redeem Camp from jibowu as we got Redeem camp at 8:36am

The roads are ok for now.

The road is free now. We got shagamu at 8:56am.
Unable to take good pictures from the fast moving vehile.

9:11am.stopped to buy fuel. I dont know the town but it's before Ijebu ode.

9:22am Ijebu ode. A little hold-up here.

The road is very free now. With our driver's James Bond style of driving, we may get to Onitsha early.

The weather is changing. It may rain.

11:15am. Stopped at Ore to eat.

12: pm. Benin city. Moving too slow now. Dont know whats wrong with the driver

A very boring journey. Maximum speed has been 120km/h. Approaching Asaba.

2:20pm, Asaba.

Buying fuel again at Asaba.

At last, arrived Onitsha at 3pm. There was no serious hold-up, the road not too bad. Ore to Benin to Onitsha was just a very smooth ride.
We would have arrived earlier but I later learnt our bus was programmed not to go beyond 120km/hr .
Thank God we arrived safely.
Whenever I am traveling, I don't eat, it disturbs Attimes. I ate only one egg roll and a bottle of Pepsi at Ore and nothing more.
Picking my bags now.

Can't imagine how it feels when you become badly -pressed in a bus while traveling.
