Rewriting these stories are just ruining my childhood memories of them. I really dislike Disney
"you know the original movie still exist right ? This new iteration of the story does not dent the previous one in anyway.
The originals is most likely going to be better than this one (based on the precedent that the other live action movies have set) with or without the inclusion of minorities, so don't buy into the racist talking point of "the movie is bad because of black people."

Zodiac (2007) .......9/10

Brilliant piece of work. David Fincher is an AGBA!! 🙌🙌
The cast: Jake Gylenhaal, Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Lynch gave premium tier performances.
It delves into a true life story of a serial killer, his thought process, motivations. It's a slow burn but it masterfully draws you in that you ignore it's runtime.
The Zodiac Killer taunts the police with his murders and antics for decades without getting caught. Despite being right under the nose of police force. He's that good and efficient with his craft that he leaves no traces.
Man was always two steps ahead of the popo.
The movie takes you round the whole race to hunt down the Zodiac, in a case that eventually leads to decades and remained unsolved.
The acting was great, the storytelling was superb.



It's quite good but it doesn't wield the gore, intensity and suspense of Se7en. Se7en remains David Fincher's best movie IMO and my all time favourite.

the most anticipated movie in my book based on every trailer I viewed last year. I'm not surprised everyone's liking it. They got Kang, Killmonger and Valkarie in one film, it definately will succeed.

Lol, judging by the first 10 projects announced for the DCU's first chapter, I can say the universe ain't focused on a singular tone. It's going to be varied. Some might be dark and grim, while some will be light-hearted and playful. Some will be a mixture of both tones. A few might be prime horror.
So I'd say I'm impressed with the first slate of films.
And it's stated that the announced projects are less than half of the projects for Chapter 1.

Creed 3. 6/10

Solid beginning. Idiotic end.

The last fight was crap. We don't need that CGI metaphorical fight in a cage shite.

Only two fights in the movie.

The set up in the first act was okay. The final act was weak.

I would say half and half.

While the Creed films can stand on its own you'll need the Rocky films to give you some kind of context especially Creed II which has a lot of ties to Rocky IV.

Okay. So, I have calmed down. I paid 6k for a movie that I was hyped for. Creed 3 was a letdown

It is a movie that is formulaic in its plot, compared to its prequels.

Creed 1 and 2 had you anxious with suspense drama and hype.

Creed 3 is as predictable as a nollywood movie.

Here is the boxing movie formula

1. Good guy boxer is an underdog

2. A difficult rival appears.

3. Good guy boxer or boxer friend loses badly.

4. Good guy plans revenge for loss

5. Good guy's loved one dies (to create even more loss and tragedy)

6. Good guy beats the rival after an uphill boxing battle (the final fight).



Creed 1 and Creed 2 had some deviations from the formula.

Creed 1- the good guy didn't win the final fight with the rival.

Creed 2. Followed the formula. But the rivalry this time was doubled- both the boxing coach and the good guy boxer had rivals. The hype in Creed 2 was that it was a generational beef stemming from the 90s.
