The restriction code is the code used to unlock the services blocked by your provider. (like using your phone on another network). for unlocking the Nokia mobile follow the instructions here http://www.mobileunlockguide.com/ They are nearly perfect with google checkout and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums. I followed the instructions there , then i got the unlock code here http://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/nokia/rs1wp9/ & unlocked my cell phone. contacted them and i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.
