John Grisham is quite good, read most of his books.

But I personally think Sydney Sheldon is better - Read all his books, WOW!!!
Another good one is Robert Ludlum.

the client had my neighbor (a father figure to me) laughing uncontrolably.
i so love that book, i read it at least once a year. when there is nothing new to read i just fall back to good old grisham. his lines in that book were laced with healthy humour. imagine the wits of an 11 year old. wow

a time to kill touched me the most. (i'm on the soft side of the emotions divide), the way the justice system leans more in favour of the blancos is thought provoking.

well i love grisham and i've read most of his titles but 4gotten some, as i took a 5year haitus to pay more attention on university (in retrospect, i regret as all i shoula done was find a healthy balance. i hope i can pick up from where i dropped off.
Re: John Grisham Fan Club by SamMilla1(m): 10:19am On Jul 09, 2009
Yea, A time to kill""touched me the most as well.

It was actually my first read and that got me hooked to Grisham.

The Thing i like most is his humourous style.

You are bound to laugh with tears when reading his works.

I dont quite agree with a lot of pple here, i biliv sidney is far better than grisham but Ludlum remains my favourite. I ve read many of their novels, sidney and ludlum doesn't give you a room to guess.

Great fan of Grisham, though I haven't read his books for a few years. My runaway favourite was "The Partner"!
Re: John Grisham Fan Club by geogentle: 10:55am On Jul 27, 2009
For me, a book is good if after reading the first page, I find it difficult to let go until I turn all the pages, this is what happens anytime I pick a Grisham book. Any angle you view it from, Grisham rocks! I've read most of his books

Re: John Grisham Fan Club by Nobody: 11:48am On Aug 08, 2013
Was among the earlist of foriegn novels I tried and had been hooked after reading THE CLIENT. Also love his courtroom bralws and his way of mixmatching his jurors(Wish we practice jury system in naija. Many polithiefians would have got their deserved jail terms). @ Op I've read all the listed except playing for pizza and THE APPEAL. Pls who can send them to me(pm me pls if u can). I think I read in his facebook fan page a coppla days ago that A TIME TO KILL has a sequel and its out, although in a different title.
Re: John Grisham Fan Club by Nobody: 12:21pm On Aug 08, 2013
just1gift: There is no doubt about it that John Grisham remains one of the best writers around, please do yourself a favour and read his work, but then he is not a lawyer, just an author.
He was a lawyer but quit practicing too early and stick to writing legal thriller. Read that somwhere.
