I mean main stream typical bibles . Genesis to revelation only. Not sect endorsed stuffs . I ask cuz any casual reader of typical bible is bound to stub his foot on bumps tht clash with what he's been fed all the while in catholicism. He/she wud hav to purposely choose to continue in error afterwards. Here's a verse: ephesians 2 v 18: "for through him (Jesus Christ) we both have access to the Father by one spirit". Through who do you access God? The nxt one is a K.O. Hebrew4v14-16: "Therefore since we have a great high priest .... Jesus the Son of God" A priest approaches God on behalf of His people. Clearly Jesus is the middle man. 15: for we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses , but we have one who has been tempted in every way,just are-yet as without sin." Again, scriptures shows tht Jesus is qualified to represent man. He's worn the shoe bf and knows where it pinches. He understands our struggles. 16: the invitation. "let us then approach the throne of Grace (timidly,that God wud zapp us? No!) with CONFIDENCE , (y approach ?) so tht you may receive (you dont leave the same way u came) mercy and find grace to help us in time of need. "(in time of need wat dyu do? Yes you are right they don't....you need to listen them speak then you will know, a great percentage of them don't even know where some books in the bible her...so pathetic |
