Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo may be set to make a return to the English Premier League with Cardiff City reported to be on his trail.
Popular Turkish website Fanatik.comreports that Cardiff City, who currently have Osaze Odemwingie on their books, are keen to sign the Nigeria international from Fenerbahce when the transfer window opens in January.
The Welsh club tried to the 33-year-old in the summer, but were unsuccessful in their bid.
It is, however, unclear whether the recent sacking of Cardiff manager Malkay Mackay will affect the club's interest in the player.
Yobo is keen to leave Fenerbahce to boost his chances of earning a recall to the national team after finding it hard to get regular minutes with the Turkish giants.
The former Everton and Olympique Marseille player is also reportedly courted by several clubs in the Turkish top flight.
