Why are we here(earth). To what purpose is life. If we are from God(heaven) and if to God we shall all return, then what is the point of coming to dis world in the first place when eventually according to some religious doctrine..some will end up in some places that is not heaven (hell, purgatory etc). What is the meaning and purpose of life.

There is so much pain and sorrow on earth,..some many life is cut short,..war, religious strife, brothers killing brothers, nations rising against each other, innocent lives are being lost every moment, when u listen to d news all u hear are tales of woe, bloodshed and death...

will peace ever reign on earth?

Simple.
To gain consciousness and from it determine your level of spirituality which also determine whether you descend into darkness or ascend to light or even float around looking for re-entry.
