You Can Make Millions Using 500 Dollars To Start Trading In Vietnam



THE numerous business opportunities in the evolving economy of fast-growing Asian country, Vietnam, have been drawing so many business people from all over the world, including Nigerians to that country. However, lack of knowledge on how to go about reaping the income benefits in trade with Vietnamese has kept most people, particularly those from Nigeria, at a distance. In this interview with Akinyemi Akinrujomu, SDE! resource person, John Adeyemo, who just returned from a trip of discovery to Vietnam reveals the secrets on how to start raking in millions  doing business with the Asian country.

Just like any other person, John Adeyemo only recently stumbled upon business opportunities that abound in Vietnam. This discovery was made while thumbing through the pages of SuccessDigest Extra!, where he discovered the possibility, and he as a result, decided to find out what it was all about, hence the trip.
“I came across Vietnam opportunities in an edition of SuccessDigest Extra! This was in 2007, when the Vietnamese ambassador was interviewed.  Here, I saw a great potential for business opportunities. It was this and the quest for more knowledge on Forex trading that took me to the country and I stayed there for about five months,” he says.
While disclosing his discoveries, Adeyemo, who wasted no time in going straight into the details about what businessmen and women stand to benefit from trading with Vietnam, noted that the Asian country flows with as much opportunities as possible for Nigerians, particularly in shipping and exports.

“I discovered that the land is fertile, because Vietnam is a fast-growing economy. It is a country people visit a lot and the economy is growing rapidly as a result. As a developing economy, when you act fast and tap into the opportunities that are available now, you have more benefits than someone that is coming at a later time.
“The opportunities for importers are numerous. Also for people who want to extend their business branches to Vietnam, the atmosphere is conducive there. Shipping companies also have huge opportunities. This is because presently, there are only two shipping companies rendering services to Nigerians there. This is an opportunity for shipping companies from here to go over and establish their representative offices there while there are still few companies around,” he reveals.
He notes that for Nigerian importers, the country’s export market boasts a splendid array of goods that are on offer at mouthwatering prices, and which provide for good returns that are guaranteed to turn them into millionaires in a short time.
“Fashion products like clothing, men and women foot wears are available. So are Electronics. Laptops, for instance, are cheap to buy over there. Other electronics like LCD television, Home Theatre and other stuff like that are also present. There are also vehicle spare parts, which are produced in large quantities and as a result, are very cheap and affordable. Computer accessories like USB Flash, monitor, casing and other stuff like that are also present.”
“For those interested in importation, there are thousands of factories that are really looking forward to extending their arms of business to Africa, Nigeria inclusive. The beauty of the whole issue is that one can actually start importation business with just 500 dollars.” This amount, he however notes, is not fixed, but based on his calculations, this  is the lowest at which, business deals can be quickly made and goods delivered.

“I say five hundred dollars because, naturally, most people believe that it requires very huge money, and it really doesn’t. Even you can start with lower than this amount, but I chose the amount because it is one with which one can buy some substantial amount of goods and start,” he states.

Benefits of Doing Business With Vietnam
Adeyemo notes that great benefits await potential dealers on Vietnamese goods, because of the major advantage of top quality goods production, that the manufacturers in that country have over others at the moment. 
“The advantage Vietnamese products have over those from most developing countries is that presently, they have manufacturers who produce for the American and European markets and as a result have goods of good quality since they cannot afford to produce sub-standard goods. Unlike in the Chinese market, which is saturated because of a large number of people more concerned with profits than quality and who go to China to specifically get sub-standard goods produced for them, there is nothing like that in Vietnam. The producers there manufacture quality goods, while those going there with specifications go for only high quality goods. The quality of their goods is, therefore, the major advantage that Vietnam has over other places.”
How Does One Start?
Adeyemo explains that not much is required in starting business relations with Vietnam. In a breakdown of the process, he reveals that the following steps are necessary in getting one’s own shipping office in the Asian country.
“To open a representative office requires you having a registered business in Nigeria first of all; then you can contact the Vietnam Trade office in Nigeria. You will also be requested to present your company’s registration certificate and bank statements that show your cash flow over a period of six months.
“These documents will be checked and verified as true copies after which they must be endorsed by the     Nigerian Embassy as original. Even all of us (at Complete Business Ventures) passed through the same process and we are therefore, in a position to advise whoever is coming on how to go about it,” he explains.
For those who are more interested in importing from Vietnam, he discloses, “The way to go about this is to get a contact over there, to which you would send money and specify the products and quantity that you want. This you can do by going to the website, www.yellowpages.vn, where information about contact addresses and samples of all the products that are produced in Vietnam are displayed.  After this, all the person (the contact) does now is go to the factory, get the products and send them to you through a shipping company and you go to the company’s office and collect your goods. Continuing this cycle, you can in due time grow your business to the multi-million naira stage.”
He explains that unlike how it sounds, it is really very easy to contact an agent in Vietnam.
Contraints
In spite of all the numerous benefits available to Nigerian importers and other businessmen and women that have already set their sights on Vietnam, Adeyemo however, notes that certain issues might pose problems to them. Most common of such are the constant search and verification exercises they and  their certificates would be subjected to in the Asian country. This, he notes, should not be a deterring factor that will prevent them from aiming for a bite of the pie.
“The Vietnamese Government is very careful with foreigners, especially Nigerian foreigners. This is because initially they used to give Nigerians a free hand to operate, but people started misusing that privilege by misbehaving and duping people. The Government there is now always watchful, but they will not stop you from doing what you have come to do if you have shown them your legal papers,” he concludes.

I was surprised to hear that You Can Make Millions Using 500 Dollars To Start Trading In Vietnam. It is a really good investment, now I am thinking to buy lands in Vietnam. I hope it goes well.
