The January transfer window will open very shortly. It is the opportunity for premier league clubs to take a look at where they are on the league table and buy the players they thing can help them get to where they want to be next year.

Naturally, the top clubs will be pushing to win the championship while others are jostling for Champions League Place and of course there is the relegation battle at the bottom. So, what do you think some of the clubs need to shore up their team in the January transfer windows?

BBC football expert Mark Lawrenson thinks the following clubs need a new striker: Arsenal, Cardiff, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Hull, Stoke, Sunderland, Tottenham and West Ham.
