Salam alekum.
Good day B and S in Islam, we all know what Quran and Hadith says about Zina, regarding its Dangers and all. The Quran says, Latakarabul Zina, meaning don't come near to Zina. So my Question here is, what is regarded as Zina? Is Romance, such as kissing, hugging and all regarded as Zina or Only Penentration?

Zina in its broad meaning indicates any haram (prohibited) act, whether the act was sexual intercourse or a look, talk, touch, or desire that is related or may lead to illicit sexual relations.

Ibn ‘Abbas narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

‘Allah has written for Adam’s son (mankind) his share of zina (adultery and fornication), which he commits inevitably. The Zina of the eyes is in evil glances and Zina of the ears is by listening (to evil) and Zina of the tongue speaking (about evil) and Zina of the hands is in touching (forbidden) and Zina of feet is in walking (towards evil) and the heart desires and hopes (in evil) and thereafter the private parts accepts that (acts upon it) or rejects it.' (Mishkaat Hadith)

These are forbidden because they eventually might lead to sexual intercourse, and they are forbidden as a preventive issue.

Allah in the Nobel Qur’an said:

"Do not come (even) near to adultery, for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road to other evils."
Surah 17 Verse 32
