Aslam Alaikum brothers in Islam, I want to call your attention to a Man called "Alagbara omi" the founder and head of ansarul- wara muslim society at ikotun. He used t come on radio lagos to preach and advertise his society every fridays from 8:30am till 9am, He used to say that christianity is a religion from Allah and that the muslim's and christians are from the same mother but we(Risalatul haq dawah intl) went to dialog with him to tafser koran 3:85 for us but he failed in his interpretation. So brothers and sisters beware of that hypocrite and pls do inform every muslim's around you about the guy.

I live abroad but i know Sheik Abdul Jamiu Alagbara omi more than anyone on this thread. Apart from the fact that he is such a great man of God with the fear of Allah, he is also my spiritual father. He is a part of my success today. @@@Poster. . . . . You got it wrong! You might wann digest what rafcrown said.

The name 'alagbara omi' itself is enough reason to be wary of the guy. I doubt if any ahl-us-sunnah'd call himself that. Does he use water to perform 'miracles'?

I have come across some of this guy's literature and heard his sermons on Radio Lagos. I am convinced that many of his beliefs run contrary to Tawhid. Basically, he is marketing himself as an "Islamic" alternative to these white garment churches and traditional spiritualists. If you know how these guys work, you definitely know that the OP is not far from the truth.

I'm curious to know if this particular group, mixing Islam and Christianity, has spread outside of Nigeria. (edited)

@ismyl89, may Allah guide our hearts to the straight path. sentiment apart, you said i shouldnt judge any. we should leave everybody alone with whatever they are doing. if your opinion was the metholodoly of our pious predecessors Islam will not have been preserved as it were today, it is only christains and the likes that share similar view they dont correct one another and they defend eachother blindly even in a plain error. 2ndly if the prophet perform miracle it is a proof to those he has been sent to so as to believe him. were you told that miracle is among the criterion of a scholar? a scholar can only be given KARAMO and it will even be consciously/willingly done by him it is subjected to Allah's will. this observation about Alfa Jamiu is never an assault its a way exposing exploiters!

All i have to analyse here is that some muslims have misquoted the words of Allah and this has been causing a legion problems to we muslims, there are many activities that christians has brought out to drawn most of our people in islam, we all knows that 90% of people need deliverance nowadays and the only way to win thier heart is to give them deliverance, a word is enough. Jesus came over 2000 years ago, prophet muhammed came over 700 years ago, where were u then? Now u are fighting over what they did or preached. Quran, the world of Allah is not for ignorant. Human problems (test of faith) are from Allah and its only Him can solve it. Allah dislike ascribing thing with Him. Its true that the prophet performed miracle by calling Allah's name not what Allah created. What is the different between sheik that use water to heal and babalawo. Be wise!!!
