I have come across couple of posts asking why a just God will destroy and kill people and children

The answer is simple "DEMONS"!

One of the things God detests so much is idolatry . It's not just about God being jealous of the worship of satan . The major thing about idol is demonization . Like viruses demons transfer through blood from generation to generation in idolatry even unborn children were dedicated without their consent . The eliminations of those races was not about God preference for Isreal but the demonic relationship associated with idolatrous worship. It could only be dealt with by conversion or by elimination.

The Old Testament had no revelation of dealing with demons except by conversion or death. Exorcism was unknown except through David's harp.

How many people have christians killed , murdered, tortured and r.aped over harmless idols?

are u saying that you'll kill a child now if u believe he/she has demons?if u say no that you'll cast them out,then permit me to ask why God did not just cast the demons out in the old testament.afterall He's the same yesterday,today and forever.

Is this good news? We can finally kill off children whom we belive are demonically possessed and aid their transition into hell

God had to preserve the Jewish race because Because God needed a clean race for the messiah to come through.

He wasn't just harsh on those idolatrous nations he was harsh on the Jews also when they Got polluted . They had to die too. So that evil can be eliminated from the land .
