The Number of Cylinders that an Engine contains is an Important factor in the Overall Performance of the Engine.

Each Cylinder contains a Piston that pumps inside of it and those Pistons connect to and Turn the Crankshaft. The more Pistons there are Pumpin, the more Combustive events takes Place.

That means that more power can be generated in less time for V6 engines.

The V6 Engine Contains 6 Cylinders, The I4 Engine ( otherwise referred to as 4 Cylinders ) Contains 4 Cylinders, While V6 Generates More Power, the 4 cylinder Engines tend to be a bit Slow & Weak.

The 4 Cylinders Engines are Considered to be Easier to Maintain Cos of the better Fuel Efficiency and Lower Emissions against the V6, V8 and V12 engines.

Personally, I love Fast Cars and would Not Drive a 4 Cylinder vehicle because they tend to be too slow for my Liking, I drive an FX 45 ( V8 Engine ) in

Lagos Nigeria, and its highly Under utilized because there are hardly free roads to Speed.

V6 Engines wont be a Bad Idea, and the Excuse of bad Fuel Economy for V6 Engines Doesn't really Hold Water, Many current V6 models come close

to matching the Petrol-mileage and Emissions standards of the smaller, 4-cylinder engines.[/b]
