I was pissed when he got subbed in the 70th minute for that misfiring Boubacar Sanogo.

Jürgen Klinsmann: “We need to recognise that Bremen were the better team today, most of all because they were ruthless with their chances. They hit us with the next blow every time we were finding our way back. It’s obviously painful. Unfortunately, we came up short of what was needed to win the game today, but the team will be very self-critical when dealing with this defeat and then we’ll look to the future. As a coach, I do believe you learn a great deal from days like today. That’s the way it is in football. You have to put results like this behind you. We’re down at the moment, but we’ll get back up again.“

Franz Beckenbauer: “You get games like that sometimes. It’s the same as it was more than 30 years ago, when we lost 7-0 at home to Schalke. Bayern did everything wrong, but Bremen had six shots at goal and scored five times. It all went really well for them. They knew exactly how to approach Bayern.
