Points:

1. McCain had only met Palin once (for about 15 minutes) 6 months ago and one more time over the phone couple of days before selecting her as his VP (even before I got my current job as a  french fries associate with McDonald, I was interviewed 3 times). Is this politics or simply combination of stupidity and desperation?
2. Both parties (McCain and Palin) have absolutely no chemistry and zero in common.
3. McCain's camp knew about the pregnant daughter and her other 5 months old baby that has down syndrome; (she is a trap that is strategically setup by McCain's camp) they intentionally made this decision to pick her, (in-spite of all her negative issues) for the following reason:

-Women voters would be passionate to voter for a mother with a down syndrome 5 months old baby
-People will criticize her daughter so much that criticism would eventually backfire and folks will start turning against Obama
-She has so much going for her positively and negatively that all attention would be directed to her and eventually folks would forget all about Obama's incredible speech.

4. Governor Palin finds it very difficult to properly monitor her home/17 years old daughter, but republicans think she is ready to monitor the talibans
5. A responsible human being would prefer to focus more on raising her children, especially the one that has down syndrome.
6. A responsible mother would chose the privacy of her 17 year old pregnant daughter over running as a VP for any political party.
7. It has also been confirmed that Sarah Palin or her husband is a member of Alaska independent party.
8. She has been selected in order for some political requirements to be accomplished by republican party.

A woman with this background should not be a "heart beat" away from being the President of United States of America.  McCain is constantly reminding us that he puts "country first" (before his personal agenda); how is picking a woman with this much baggage and this little experience putting "country first"?  It's not putting country first; it's just a gimmick aimed at appeasing women to achieve his personal goal of becoming the next President.

McCain is an empty man who has nothing to offer and he clearly knows it too, but I just find it difficult to identify why it's taking this long for his block head supporters to see the light.

Confirmed by Hillary Clinton: The Dems will not be focusing on Palin; their undivided attention will be purely on McCain and his unrealistic policies.

Hillary Rodham Clinton has no intention of becoming a Sarah Palin attack dog — but has no qualms going after John McCain, people close to the former first lady say.

“She’s not the answer when it comes to winning conservative women — she never was — and we’re not going to be anybody’s attack dog against Sarah Palin,” said a Clinton insider. “To be fair to Obama’s people, they haven’t asked us to do that.”

Slamming Palin to win back women already hostile to Obama is pointless, the insider said, because Clinton’s most loyal base is working-class voters, not women in particular. “Attacking Palin is checkers, attacking McCain on the economy is chess.”

Clinton will continue to yoke McCain and Palin to President Bush on pocketbook issues. But sources say that Clinton, who supports abortion rights, isn’t likely to criticize the Alaska governor for her anti-abortion stance. She may, however, question Palin’s record on equal-pay issues.

The Obama campaign, alarmed by Palin’s instant popularity, has given Clinton’s staff a proposed fall campaign schedule in economically distressed battleground states — including Ohio and Pennsylvania — where she did well during the primaries, according to people familiar with the situation.

The former first lady, who is due to appear at an Obama event in Florida on Monday, hasn’t gotten back to them yet. When she does, she’s likely to add a few stops of her own — fundraisers, including at least one in Texas to help her repay more than $20 million in debt incurred during the primary.

“They probably don’t want her in Texas, but, hey, that’s where the money is, so that’s where she’s going to go,” said a source familiar with travel planning.

Mccain picked a woman that has publicly stated that she doesnt know what the Vp does. Little political experience (20 months in local government?! WTF). Zero experience in foreign policy (unlike Zionist Joseph Biden, who has chaired Senate Committee on Foreign Relations for some years). A former beauty queen who proudly calls herself a "hockey mom" as though that's a big accomplishment.


I honestly expected Romney to be picked as a veep because of his accomplishments and experience in economic-financial knowledge and management. When it was announced that Mrs. Palin is selected as a running mate, I knew it's a ploy to attract the female population comprised of moderate, on-the-fence and disgruntled Hillary supporters. This is cusp of desperation proving McCain's judgment is questionable

It is believed in many circles that it was the success of Obama’s convention that was a factor that forced McCain’s hand in selecting Sarah Palin as his running mate; a decision that may prove disastrous.
Initially it was believed that Palin was an obvious ploy for Clinton supporters, but if that was ever the case (and I do believe that it partly was), it turned out to be a major failure– the Obamas and the Clintons having made major moves to bring Clinton supporters back into the fold during the convention. On top of that, based on anecdotal evidence mostly but a whole lot of it, if anything Palin’s selection only seemed to energize former Clinton supporters and feminists for Obama; Palin’s selection being a cynical and sexist move that insults women to think they will vote for any woman without first examining her qualification
