Deut 32: 44 Moses came with Joshua son of Nun and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people. 45 When Moses finished reciting all these words to all Israel, 46 he said to them, "Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. 47 They are not just idle words for you—they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess." Matt 5: 17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. Christians claim that the Blood of Jesus did away with the Laws of Moses and all the other barbaric laws and injunction of the old testament. Acts like; Animal sacrifice, Human sacrifice, Circumcision Stoning to dead for working of Sabbath, adultery, etc Stoning to dead of recalcitrant children Killing of Witches Dietary laws Cleanliness laws But is this true? Moses clearly states that his laws were to be observed (Deut 32) and Jesus also said he did not come to do away with the law and that his followers were to be more observant than the pharisees (Matt 5). So why do most Christian ignore the laws of Moses? Supposing one were to practise the laws of Moses, would that be a sin? For instance, would practising circumcision be considered a sin? |

When you stop generalising and actually learn about Christianity, then you will be able to eliminate some of your rantings. |
