No! It's not safe for Ronaldo now that the English Hooligans were bundled out by Ronaldo's team and moreover Rooneys card just made CR the most hated player in WC. Get to hear what English fans say up to now! "Roo's card cost us the cup" Whenever I hear this statement I ever hide somewhere and laugh my head off, Lest am booed like Ronaldo. he should move to spain or Marseille to team up with Djibril Cisse. |

The English team play rubbish until Rooney left. Why are they complainning? Cristiano Ronaldo outplay and outclass Almighty Rooney in the tournament. There's nothing the fans can do to Ronaldo beside Booing. |

England is very safe for Xtiano Ronaldo and his matter is just a case of history repeating itself at the Theatre of Dreams(Old Trafford). 11 years ago, Eric Cantona was taunted at every ground after being banned for his karate kick into the crowd at Crystal Palace. True to form, the Frenchman made a goalscoring return against Liverpool — and ended the season by drilling the winner against the Merseysiders which gave United the Double. The abuse Cantona received was bad but it was nothing compared to the appalling insults David Beckham had to endure following England’s 1998 World Cup campaign. The then United midfielder even saw an effigy ‘hanged’ outside a London pub after he was sent off for aiming a kick at Argentina’s Diego Simeone. Yet again, the last laugh came from Old Trafford as Becks helped the Reds to that memorable Treble in 1999. Cristiano Ronaldo will cope with the pressure in England and this should bring the best out of him. He was booed constantly after the Rooney saga and the boos helped him a lot as he was the best portugese player by miles in all the matches he played. I back Ronaldo to carry this performance to the premiership next season and follow the foot-paths of Beckham and Cantona. Afterall, they have all worn jersey number 7 for Man Utd. Its a tradition. |
