We lost because of these things Extremely poor midfield with no attack (Once Onazi went off) - Poor WC team selection (GABRIEL RUEBEN (WHO HAS NO CLUB!!!)INSTEAD OF MBA, NO UCHE, NO ATTACK) - No bench replacements - Mikel didn't step it up (Demoralised the team) - Odemwingie only real guy with passion. The guy just played 2 Defensive midfield players - It was OVER once Onazi came on. Good night 5 Likes |

Sadusky: Worst round of 16 match You are right because the French team was not that good but lack of goal hungry strikers and our defense was the setback in the eagles |

dabossman: Hate him or love him, Keshi has equaled the achievements of the much celebrated Clemens Westerhof and his 94 squad. Won Nations Cup and got to the 2nd round of the World Cup with a rag-tag team. Gbam!!! Respect to the big boss!!! |

The downfall of the team are 3 things: 1) Hopelessness in set pieces. 2) Not getting players into the box. Normally only one Nigerian is there when we attack. 3) Mikel slows us down. And once Onazi was injured, we were done for. 2 Likes |

As soon as Onazi got injured and Rueben came it Keshi needed one more body in midfield We were supposed to withdraw Moses and bring in Uchebo to play the number 10 role and keep things more compact |
