which version of vroot did you use? cus i rooted my phone yesterday, flashed CWM and CTR, and my phone still work fine till this very moment. my avast still work great and I uninstalled vroot without problems.

HOW TO ROOT TECNO F5[UPDATE]
I know its already on the first page, bt due to laziness of some guys, nd the fact that the app is outdated, I had to write an updated method of rooting this device

*download vroot, latest version(1.1.
link => http://products.mgyun.com/api/downjump?id=461

* install, and add to ignore list(for those using avast)

* click the one click root button, them wait

* it should tick all buttons

* after all buttons has been ticked, it should tell you that your device is rooted

* exit, and look for the newly installed "kinguser"[does same function with super user and super su]

* if you found king user, you can now uninstall vroot.

for cwm and/or CTR, go to page 0 and page 1 respectively
DISCLAIMER: the above method is simple and works(tested on my device last night), if you can't follow simple instructions, then the joke is on you cus I'm not responsible for any harm that comes to ur device

"userdata_20140721_200228.backup" and

it get bricked oneday?

how much data space was left in your SD card before backup?

FLASH? I booted into recovery by presin volume up and power botons simultaneously.
About 2.3gb free space.
Yes its follow come SDcard.

bro u backed up wit stock recovery dats it....u nid 2 flash CWM recovery den bckup again....
