A lot of people have gotten cars worth 5m for free. Some have gotten it at half the price etc.
The problem is that you embolden the fraudsters at Alaba each time you say the problem is greed on the part of the customer. Mind you business is customer and seller agrees on a price for a product. thats all.

Hi
If there is a carton for it with Styrofoam, you should use one. But if there is none you should try get Styrofoam to cover the screen from breaking and also carton to cover the body from scratches.

Opinions like this cringe me. The issue cannot be greed on the part of the buyer. we have all gotten same goods at varying prices depending on seller. It has nothing to do with greed, instead the blame should go where it should, those terrible people at Alaba who will NEVER be straightforward. I will advice all to be extra careful when dealing at alaba. Its just a terrible market.

You are right if only he was not aware of standard prices and fell for them and totally wrong if he had acquired from 2 or 3 sellers and noted the price as roughly the same. Most ppl who where defrauded acted so because of pure greed, a nairalander here was conned yesterday because of this. We had already agreed on price, and he came from afar only to call me late in the day that he was in big trouble and if I was around to help. He knew that the price is equal and opted for a cheaper price only to go find out that it was scrap all the way.....
