ACADEMY OF ISLAMIC PROPAGATION (ACADIP)

SHORT REPORT ON OUR ABUJA LECTURES, HELD ON SUNDAY, 13th of JULY, 2014.

The Lectures went on successfully. The first Lecture was held at NASFAT Islamic Centre, Utako, while the second Lecture took place at 221 Road, Jumat Mosque, Second Avenue, 24 Crescent, Gwarimpa Estate, FCT.

The theme of the Lecture, held at the NASFAT Ground was "RELIGIOUS HARMONY, LET US REASON TOGETHER" We were able to establish that, Religious Harmony holds the key to a peaceful and progressive world, and that, in a world of different Religions, Castes, Creeds, Sects, Ethnicities, Colours, Languages, Genders, Nationalities etc, inter-religious dialogue is a uniquely potent instrument of achieving mutual understanding and peaceful co-existence, especially, in a heterogeneous community like ours. If dialogue is given a chance and with open mind, it will bring Religious Harmony and create a peaceful and prosperous world.

After a short sermon, we proceeded to the "Question & Answers" session. The first Questioner was a brother, who claimed he was once a Muslim before he converted to Christianity. He and his younger brother requested for biblical evidence on the Prophethood & messengership of Jesus Christ (PBUH)

To Allah be the Glory, we were able to establish from the Bible, that, Jesus is a Prophet of God, Mark,6:3-4; Matthew,21:11; Luke,24:19; and also a Servant of God, Acts,3:13; Acts,3:26; Acts,4:27; Acts,4:30 (RSV) & Matthew,12:18.

Another Questioner was Mr Barminas Desire of Baptist Church who wanted to know if the Christians would be admitted into Paradise. We quoted Qur'an,3:85 that, "whoever seeks a religion, other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, in the Hereafter, he will be one the losers".

We also made him to realise that, based on what is contained in Qur'an,5:73, Christians have disbelieved. "Surely, disbelievers are those who said: Allah is the third of the three in a Trinity"

The third Questioner was an Igbo lady, Sister Favour from Catholic Church. She came with a view to establishing for us why it is rational to serve Jesus Christ (PBUH). Alhamdulillahi, after a lot of argument, we were able to convince her that, only Allah, who is the creator of Prophet Jesus (PBUH) must be served and worshipped. Consequently, she embraced Islam!

"Then, Jesus said to him, "Begone, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord, your God, and Him only you shall Serve'." (MATTHEW,4:10)

In short, five Christians finally reverted to Islam. They are:

(1) Mr Tunde Ajiboye,
(Prayer link Church)
Now Sulaimon.

(2) Oyelami Isaiah Ayokunmi,
(Christ Apostolic Church)
Now Abdullahi.

(3) Sister Adewale Favour,
(Catholic Church)
Now Aishat.

(4) Nasirudeen Johnson,
(Living Faith Church)
Now Ahmed.

(5) Okon Mary
(Catholic Church)
Now Mariam.

May Allah make them more steadfast in Islam. Aamiyn. Meanwhile, this is also to inform and invite your eminence to another RAMADAN LECTURE of ours, holding tomorrow, Saturday 19th of July at Osogbo, the capital of Osun State:

(Shakes his head, and hit his face with his palm with disappointment)
In as much as I will love to agree with you that both religions are the same( maybe that will allow peace to reign ) but the fact is they are not! The word Christian is Adopted from Christ. Christ mean the anointed one, Jesus Christ is the anointed son of God. Acts 10:38.

Come to think of it, there are different kind of gods on earth(Obatala, Osun, Oya etc Worshipers) all claimed they are worshipping god but how do we know the real and the Original God? that's why Jesus came to the rescue John 14:16:- I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If Muslim can accept that then I can say both religion are the same.

I don't know where you see those pastors that called themselves sulaimon
