This August 2014, we will paint pictures with words and blur the line between between imagination and reality at WORD UP Volume 8.

WORD UP (Nigeria's Foremost Spoken Word Poetry Event) is an event which showcases the best of Spoken Word Poetry in Nigeria.

Over 500 youths are expected at this 8th edition of WORD UP which marks the 2nd year anniversary of the event. This edition will feature some of Nigeria's established Spoken Word Poets and exciting young talents (who dazzled the audience at War Of Words Season 3 Slam Poetry Competition in June 2014).

Stay tuned for the list of poets that will be on parade.
