19 Nigerian Students Awarded Scholarship by the
Australian Government to do their master degree
programme in Australia by 2015.
“The Australian government is encouraging
Nigerians interested in studying abroad to consider
Australia as an option, given the strong
record and high quality of our universities and
tertiary institutions .” said the Australian High
Commissioner to Nigeria, Jonathan Richardson
who also said that between 2010 and 2014, more
than 200 scholarship awards had been granted
Nigerian students, including 86 for postgraduate
studies by the Australian government.
A new round of Australia Awards would open for
applications in September,2014. he said.
