Ahmed Zaki- Egypt/ Wigan
Abdul Treka-
Didier Drogba- Ivory coast/ chelsea
Michael Essien- Ghana/Chelsea

my preference is Emmanuel Adebayor. he was red hot in 2007 and still scoring. coming close will be abdul treka. i really don't see the reason why drogba was nominated because he wasnt his realself last season

Adebayor has it. It is undebatable.
Zaki may come second.
And by the way, I think Muntari deserves a place in the TOp 5. He was fantastic for Portsmouth and Ghana, and at Inter.

Zaki should take this.
He was the best player in CAN and he is currently blazing the Premiership.
Adebayor?? I can't remember him wearing any medal in the last 12 months. tongue

I think its about time ABOUTREKA cops this award he's been nominated one too many times or must he play for a European club before he is considered for the award

EMMANUEL SHEYI ADEBAYOR. but actually african players were a lil bit cold this year.but new talents signaled their presence such as Manucho,Alex Song,Ikechukwu Uche,Anthony annan,e.t.c.

As a Nigeria and a part-time lover of makossa dance grin, i want Sheyi to win it but Zaki had been tremendous.

Imagine Zaki play for any top 4 teams, he will be tearing nets every week.

He was part of the team that destroy almighty Ivory coast in Ghana.

Go Sheyi but i wont be dissapointed if the egyptian nick it.
