Job Title: Legal Secretary To The General Manager
Department: Administration

Location: Port -Hacourt, Rivers Sate

Main Purpose of Job
To provide high quality management and administrative assistance to the Executive Director of the company.

Job Profile
Manage and coordinate the activities of the executive director
Manage the executive director’s diary and appointments, ensuring effective use of time and preparation of necessary paper work in advance
The candidate must be able to review legal documents and identify underlying clauses
The candidate must be smart, well organized and meticulous in handling official documents
Filter incoming calls, sorting, filtering, redirecting and taking actions as appropriate.
Preparing and editing correspondence, developing reports and presentations.
Managing projects and conducting research
Qualifications and Skills level:
Must have experience in the legal profession, a degree in law will be an added advantage
Must have worked in a law firm, preferably as a confidential secretary
Must have 3 - 4 years experience
Must be between the ages of 25- 35
Good experience in Microsoft applications (Basic and Advanced)
Other related qualifications will be an added advantage
Knowledge and skills
Ability to work own initiative and minimal supervision
Must have an organized approach to work
Ability to manage heavy workload and at times conflicting priorities and multitask
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must have excellent communication skills; both orally and written
The candidate must be smart and intelligent
Must be able to pay attention to detail
